Public database for all internationally recognized ISO certifications
As per several flag state requirements, PMSC ISO 28007 certification needs to be internationally recognized. To help you, there is now a public database for all internationally recognized certifications: CertSearch.
- All Internationally recognised certifications are listed in the International Accreditation Forum public database, the international benchmark for credible certification, CertSearch – allowing vessel owners to verify the credibility of accredited ISO certifications. All IAF accredited certifications are required to be on this database by 26 October 2024.
- There are ‘fake’ certifications held by some PMSCs that will never appear on this international due diligence certification database. If an ISO certificate is not on the database by October ’24 then it is probably ‘fake’ and should be treated with real caution.
- We encourage our clients to verify ESC-s certificates on this free ‘one stop’ international due diligence database to assure our credibility and competence to support you on your transits through the high-risk areas.
